The new Miss Nigeria now included a reality show "The Making of a Queen" which saw contestants compete in various tasks synonymous with Nigerian women including cooking on outdoor firewood stoves, hostessing, and haggling with market traders, with a number of contestants facing eviction each week.
Miss Nigeria 2010: Damilola Agbajor
Oluwadamilola Agbajor reigned as the queen of gentility and compassion from 2010 to 2011, during her reign she campaigned for various charities and made ambassadorial relationships with various significant philanthropical personalities and organizations such as Mrs. Toyin Saraki - the first lady of Kwara State on her child welfare program, Ibadan Red Cross unit on flood victims relief program and the executives of Arik Air.

Twenty- three-year-old Anyaoha Ezinne Akudo has emerged Miss Nigeria 2013 after a keen contest held at the Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Akudo beat 20 other contestant to clinch the first position which came with N3million, a car and a trip to California.
Commenting on her victory, Akudo, who is a graduate of Law from the Abia State University, said: "I am so excited to have won. There were many other pretty girls who contested but I won. I want to thank God for this victory."
Meanwhile, she also clinched the award for Miss Photogenic while Miss Congeniality went to Celestine Queen.
